As the handstand masterclass was so popular we will be running a class every month so you all have time to practise 🙂

The beginners class will cover:
Confidence building
Strength and conditioning needed for stability and balance
How to use handstands on the pole and off
Solo training techniques
Partner training techniques – it is more fun with a friend 🙂
Individual feedback and ‘homework’

The beginners class is suitable for:
People who have never done a handstand before (or not since school!)
People who experience anxiety about handstands but want to improve at their own pace
Both pole dancers and non pole dancers
People working towards handstands supported by the wall / pole / another person etc.

The intermediate class will cover:
Confidence building
Strength and conditioning needed for stability and balance
Flips, walkovers, and other variations
Solo training techniques
Partner training techniques – it is more fun with a friend 🙂
Individual feedback and ‘homework’

The intermediate class is suitable for:
People who are confident with handstands against a wall / pole / other support
People who can free handstand or are working towards / very close to a free handstand
People who want to take their handstands further and achieve walkovers, flips and other gymnastics skills

When are the classes?
The classes will run on the third Saturday of every month and must be booked in advance. There are 10 spaces per class – we are limiting it so you receive the max teaching time with Julie.

Dates of the 2014 classes:
Saturday 19th July
Saturday 16th August
Saturday 20th September
Saturday 25th October
Saturday 15th November
Saturday 13th December

The intermediate class will run at 1245 – 1.45pm and the intermediate from 2pm – 3pm on the dates above.
