Flight Fitness is THREE years old! We would love to celebrate this with all of you at our yearly birthday party / showcase and raise some much needed funds for charity at the same time.

A Leicester based charity, Legs4Africa sends unwanted artificial limbs to those who need them most. The medical system in Africa does not facilitate amputee support – so in an instant, a fully mobile, independent person can be rendered immobile and unemployable, completely destroying many of the roles and relationships they have fostered through life.

It is estimated that over 5000 prosthetic limbs are destroyed every year within the UK alone. Legs4Africa pick up the redundant limbs and components, autoclave them and have them sent to trusted centres in Africa where people’s lives will be turned around!

Last year we raised almost £500 – if we could aim for this again it would be amazing!!

WHEN IS IT?
Saturday 22nd August 12 – 3pm

How much is it?
£5 entry for adults, £3 for children. 100% of this plus all the money raised from selling cakes / refreshments will go to Legs4Africa.
There is no card machine in the studio it is cash only.

What will there be to do?
Bring your pole shorts and leggings and have a go on the poles and (low rigged) aerial equipment. There will be instructors floating about but no formally scheduled classes / taster sessions. This is more of an informal social. (Please do not attempt anything you have not been taught to do by an instructor!)
There will also be performances halfway through the afternoon, running order and performers to be announced nearer the time.
